Where is the cooking class?

In Putu’s family compound in Banjar Pesalakan, Pejeng Kangin, near Ubud in Gianyar.

Is transport included?

Round-trip transport from accommodation in Ubud is included. Transport outside Ubud costs extra and is confirmed after the hotel or villa location is shared.

How long is the experience?

The cooking portion lasts about 1.5 hours. Total experience time is longer when transport, the market visit, the compound introduction, and the shared meal are included.

How many dishes do we cook?

Five authentic Balinese dishes. The exact menu may vary with seasonal ingredients and confirmed dietary requirements.

Can vegetarians join?

Yes, when requested in advance. Always disclose allergies and ingredients to avoid before confirmation.

What do children pay?

Children aged 5–11 pay 50% of the applicable adult price. Infants aged 0–4 are free.

What is the cancellation policy?

A confirmed booking may be cancelled, but only 50% of the total payment is refunded. The remaining 50% is non-refundable.

Is the class private?

Yes. Direct bookings are arranged for your own booking group.

What time does the market package begin?

The typical Ubud pickup is around 7:00am, subject to final confirmation.

Can the food be mild?

Yes. Tell Putu whether you prefer mild, medium, or spicy food before the class.
